De Meiyvogels were a short-lived rock band with Dutch lyrics by Eternal Nightmare and Mortmain members, all of them members of The Titfaces as well.
De Meiyvogels started October 1990 when guitar player Gerrit (drummer for The Tifaces and Mortmain guitarist) and singer Danny (Eternal Nightmare and The Titfaces guitarist) used a drum computer and a cheap 4-track cassette tape recorder to record a few songs, including Verliefd In Mei and Winter (later recorded and released by The Titfaces), a reworked Fats Domino song and a BZN cover. They were joined by bassist Marco (The Titfaces and Mortmain bassplayer) and drummer Richard (the Titfaces singer and drummer for Mortmain) for a gig at a party at their rehearsal room on New Year's Eve 1990, after which they disbanded. The planned demo Schat never got released.
